Promoting Your CCIFP

You’ve worked hard to earn your CCIFP certification. Using the CCIFP designation after your name indicates that you have met CFMA's certification requirements and have agreed to adhere to CFMA's high standards of professional competency and ethics.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when using these marks:

Be sure to attach the CCIFP designation to your name and title. By doing so, you bring distinction – not just to yourself – but to your employer, your company, and the projects you support. Always use capital letters – first last, CCIFP -- and don’t use periods

Logos and usage guidelines will be sent to all new CCIFPs in your welcome kit. If you need additional files please contact certification@cfma.org.

Associates – Your CCIFP designation allows your company to stay at least one step ahead of the competition. It means you bring something to the table that’s uniquely valuable to your clients.

Corporate – Along with your CCIFP designation comes the assurance that your company knows and embraces financial efficiencies that can translate into bottom-line results.

Individuals – Attaining CCIFP status is a valuable career step for any financial professional. It puts you in the vanguard of your profession, now and in the years to come.

Candidates who pass the exam will receive a certificate suitable for framing. The CCIFP designation may be used in a professional manner on the certificate holder’s business cards, stationery, literature, advertisements, window, or in any other comparable manner. The CCIFP designation may not be used in any manner that, in the sole discretion of CFMA, discredits CFMA or tarnishes its reputation and goodwill; is false or misleading; violates the rights of others; violates any law, regulation, or other public policy; or mischaracterizes the relationship between CFMA and the certificate holder – including, but not limited to, any use of the credential that might be reasonably construed as an endorsement, approval, or sponsorship by CFMA of the certificate holder, the certificate holder’s business or organization, or the certificate holder’s products or services, or that might be reasonably construed as CFMA support or encouragement to purchase or utilize the certificate holder’s products or services.

The CCIFP designation shall remain at all times the sole and exclusive intellectual property of CFMA. CFMA shall have the right, from time to time, to request samples of use of the designation from which it may determine compliance with these terms and conditions. Without further notice, CFMA reserves the right to prohibit the use of the CCIFP designation, if it is granted inactive status, or if it determines, in its sole discretion, that a user’s CCIFP designation usage, whether willful or negligent, is not in strict accordance with the terms and conditions of this credential, or could otherwise discredit CFMA or tarnish its reputation and goodwill.
